From Conroe...... Travel North on I-45. Go beyond 1097
in Willis. Look for the next exit: # 97, Calvary Rd.
Take this
exit and at the first stop sign make a left.

Go over the I-45
overpass. Please pay attention to the 45 mph
speed limit.

Go 5.2 miles to Stow-A-Way Marina before the bridge.
You'll see a white lighthouse breaking through the tree-ridden shoreline.
(If you go over the little bridge, you've gone too far.) | |

Need a restroom ? They are available at Stow-A-Way log cabin
grocery store
on the wooded campus. Be sure to stop there for water
and/or snacks before you drive to our kayak put-in spot. NLCPC is located at the beach off the annex parking lot.

After your restroom stop, get back in your vehicle, and drive to
the annex parking lot driveway. Look for the big red & white arrow, directing you where to drive and park.
Yes, it may look like a sidewalk, but it is our driveway.
So, go ahead, and drive through it.

From Houston/Spring/The Woodlands
Follow the same
directions as for Conroe. However, be prepared for the ongoing
construction
on the interstate due to construction throughout segments of I-45 and Hardy Toll Road.
Be sure to plan ahead and budget a little more time.
The kayaking will be worth
the trip. If you don't, we recommend you consider
riding your horse up to Calvary Road in Willis. Good
luck !
